The Sale Horticultural and Allotment Society (SHAS) is the management association for the Grosvenor Road Allotments.
We are a unincorporated association that exists for the benefit of its members with a constitution defined as not for profit.

The management committee has a maximum capacity of 10 persons as defined in our constitution. If you are interested in joining the committee please contact the Committee Chair. If you are interested in helping out in other ways please see the Get Involved page.
Constitution
The SHAS constitution was approved to be updated during the 2025 AGM:
- Officially noted to be a not for profit organisation
- Updated membership terms for new members to Trafford residents only
- Pronouns used throughout updated to be gender neutral

Annual General Meeting (AGM)
The SHAS AGM is held in the spring of each year. It is usually held on a Tuesday evening at the Salvation Army church hall on Ashton Lane. At the 2025 AGM it was voted that online attendance and voting is allowed and the option will be provided going forward.
Notice of the AGM will be given.
Minutes of the AGM are available and will be issued to all members of SHAS.
